Ukeleles

Ukeleles (spelt "ukelele" in the UK, "ukulele" elsewhere) originated in Hawaii in the 19th century, based on the cavaquinho and the rajão, small guitar-like instruments taken to Hawaii by Portuguese immigrants. They commonly come in four sizes: soprano, concert, tenor and baritone. At Brighton Guitars, we stock a wide range of beautifully made ukeleles from Lanikai, Kala and aNueNue, as well as Riptide ukeleles from Boulder Creek. We can also supply Kala's good value Makala range, as well as novelty ukeleles in fun colours and designs. Left-handed ukeleles and 5 string configurations are also available.
